Asamoah Gyan returns for Ghana in AFCON qualifier
Avram Grant has named a 23-man squad to face Rwanda
Coach Avram Grant has named a 23-man squad for Ghana’s AFCON qualifying match against Rwanda scheduled to be played early next month.
Black Stars skipper, Asamoah, who missed Ghana's last two qualifiers has returned to the team. Another notable name back into the team is Adam Kwarasey, who was also out for the Black Stars last qualification game.
However, Fatau Dauda was left of the team.
On the local scene, Ashanti Gold dependable centre back, Kadir Mohammed and Wa All Stars shot-stopper, Richard Ofori were named in the 23-man
The Black Stars have already qualified for next year's tournament having amassed thirteen (13) points so far from 5 games played.
The Rwandans are in second place with six (6) points.
Ghana will take on Rwanda on 3rd September 2016 at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Accra.
Ghana is currently in talks for a friendly game which will be played days after next month’s qualifying game.
