Liverpool transfer news and rumours: Reds join race to sign Real Madrid's James Rodriguez?
Liverpool have registered an interest in Real Madrid outcast James Rodriguez, according to reports.
Rodriguez, who joined Madrid from Monaco for £63million two years ago, is no longer wanted at Madrid by manager Zinedine Zidane.
And Mundo Deportivo say Liverpool have enquired about his price ahead of a possible bid before the end of the transfer window.
However, it is claimed Madrid want £51million for the player and the European champions don't believe Liverpool are capable of meeting their asking price.
Arsenal and Chelsea have also been linked with the 25-year-old Colombian, as have AC Milan and PSG.
