Transfer Centre LIVE!

Transfer Centre LIVE!

All the latest news from the transfer market, including updates on Joe Hart, Claudio Bravo and Shkodran Mustafi.

'RISK TO SELL ISCO AND JAMES'
Terry Gibson thinks selling both James Rodriguez and Isco during this transfer window would be a risk for Real Madrid.
Both players have been linked with moves away from the Bernabeu this summer after struggling to break into Zinedine Zidane's starting line-up last season.
"They [Real Madrid] might be banned for two windows, I am not sure they would run the risk of selling of them," Gibson told the La Liga Weekly podcast.
"From Zidane's perspective, why would you want to sell? It's tough to keep them motivated and happy, but at the same time you wouldn't want to lose them particularly with this two-window ban."

SEVILLA 'WANT PL TARGET'
Sevilla are considering a move for PSG goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, reports Marca.
The Europa League champions want to recruit a new goalkeeper before the close of the transfer window next week and Sirigu has emerged as their first-choice target.
The 29-year-old, who is now PSG’s third-choice goalkeeper, is also attracting interest from elsewhere. Two unnamed Premier League clubs have enquired about his situation, say Marca. However, a move to Sevilla would be his preferred option.

STOKE HAVE JONES HOPES
Stoke assistant manager Mark Bowen claims the club are hopeful of signing defender Phil Jones from Manchester United in the next week.
United boss Jose Mourinho appears to be going with Eric Bailly and Daley Blind as his centre-back pairing, and with Chris Smalling also in the mix, Jones may be tempted to move on for regular first-team football.
Stoke manager Mark Hughes is keen to land the England international, and Bowen has confirmed a deal could materialise.
"I don't know what's gone wrong, but he's gone from even a player Fergie [Alex Ferguson] was talking about as being someone who could have been one of the greats. But we have a bit of reputation for bringing players like that into this set-up and then thriving. Fingers crossed, something may happen."

DROGBA DISMISSES VILLA LINK
Didier Drogba has dismissed rumours he is in Birmingham ahead of a shock move to Aston Villa from Montreal Impact.
Villa chairman Tony Xia sparked the speculation on social media by claiming the club were working to bring in a top-class striker.
He tweeted: "Just come out of training at @impactmontreal & a million messages & trending on Twitter saying I was in Birmingham today."

The Italian press are reporting that West Ham want at least £5m for defender Obiang, who played 30 games last season for the club.

NEWELL'S CONFIDENT ON MESSI MOVE
Argentine league side Newell's Old Boys are confident they will lureLionel Messi back to the club before he retires.
Messi was with his hometown club Newell's until he moved toBarcelona to join their famous La Masia academy as a 14-year-old.
"I am convinced, like many of my peers, that we can make history as a club if we get the best player in the world in a Newell's shirt," the club's vice president Cristian D'Amico told FourFourTwo.
"I think we're going to get the pleasure of Messi wearing the shirt."

McCARTHY 'COULD LEAVE'
James McCarthy is on the verge of leaving Everton, according to theDaily Mail.
The 25-year-old reportedly does not fit into new manager Ronald Koeman's plans at Goodison Park.
The Irishman was tactically substituted in the 2-1 win at Everton on Saturday after just 38 minutes.

HEARTS HOPEFUL OVER JUANMA
Sky Sports understands Hearts remain hopeful Juanma's proposed move to Beveren will still materialise.
Media reports on Tuesday suggested the transfer had had fallen through because Juanma could not agree personal terms.
Other claims indicate the 25-year-old failed a medical with the Belgian club.
The Spaniard is understood to be heading back to Scotland whilst the various parties attempt to resurrect the deal.

ROONEY 'GREAT FOR MLS'
Portland Timbers owner Merritt Paulson says Wayne Rooney would be a "great signing" for the MLS.
As one of the biggest stars in English football for the past decade, Rooney would have plenty of interest should he decide to move away from Manchester and follow fellow countrymen such as Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard to the United States.
"I would argue he still has some good soccer ahead of him," Paulson told the Daily Mirror. "I think he would be a great signing for MLS - 100 percent MLS would be attractive for him.
"Keeping in mind that is a very talented footballer, who has quality soccer ahead of him, you are not talking about a 34 or 35 year old."

MUSTAFI 'WON'T BE SOLD'
Valencia manager Pako Ayestaran insists Shkodran Mustafi will not be sold in this transfer window.
Sky sources reported earlier in August that Mustafi had agreed a move to Arsenal, with negotiations ongoing over the transfer fee, while Arsene Wenger said over the weekend that a deal "will be done" before the transfer deadline.
However, Mustafi's £43m buy-out clause now seems likely to prove a major stumbling block.
Ayestaran said after Valencia's 4-2 defeat by Las Palmas last night: "Mustafi is not for sale and will not be leaving the club."

ARSENAL AFTER TISSERAND?
Arsenal have made an enquiry for Monaco defender Marcel Tisserand, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 23-year-old Congo international was reportedly close to signing for Espanyol, but the Mirror say Arsenal have now come in for Tisserand, who can play at right-back or centre-back.

NORDFELDT SIGNS NEW DEAL
Swansea goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt has signed a new four-year contract with the club.
The Swedish international, who is set to feature in Swansea's EFL second round clash at Peterborough this evening, ties him to the Liberty Stadium until 2020.

ZAZA 'INTERESTED IN WEST HAM'
Simone Zaza is interested in moving from Juventus to West Ham, according to the player's father.
The 25-year-old striker is reportedly free to leave Juventus, and his father Antonio says a move to West Ham represents something "concrete".
He told Mediaset Premium: "West Ham are a solution we'd appreciate and represent something more concrete.
"We'll have to see what Juventus do and expect news soon."

DROGBA NO-GO FOR VILLA
Aston Villa owner Dr Tony Xia has dismissed rumours linking the club with a move for Montreal Impact striker Didier Drogba.
Xia said Villa were in the hunt for a No 9, but was quick to deny that the former Chelsea man was heading to Villa Park while answering fans' questions last night.

KLOPP WILL STICK BY STURRIDGE
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has vowed to stick by Daniel Sturridge despite the striker's continued injury problems.
England striker Sturridge missed the opening game of the season with a hip problem but returned in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Burnley, playing on the left of a front-three.
"What I can say, to any player, is that those who stay in the race and work really hard will get the benefit. That is how it is. Sometimes it is a little bit harder, sometimes easier, but that is the same for all of us."

ROMAGNOLI BID REJECTED
Chelsea have seen a £30m bid for centre-back Alessio Romagnolirejected by AC Milan, according to Sky in Italy.
It is understood the Serie A club do not want to sell the 21-year-old Italy U21 international in this window.
Romagnoli joined Milan for £21m last summer from Roma, making 34 starts in the Italian top-flight last season, and the country's press have even compared him to some of the great Milan defenders such as Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Silva.
