Kosovo want Xhaka

The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) will attempt to persuade Swiss midfielderGranit Xhaka to switch his national allegiance, according to reports.
Kosovo were recognised as an official Fifa member earlier this year and will play their first competitive international against Finland on September 5.
Xhaka was born in Basel, Switzerland to Kosovo Albanian parents in 1992 a short time after his mother and father had migrated from what was then Yugoslavia.
An FFK statement, revealed by the London Evening Standard, said: “Kosovo has called up publicly and privately every Kosovan player who currently plays for any other national team.
“Everyone is welcomed to join us on our new and very important challenges.”
