Bale to sign new deal

Bale to sign new Real Madrid deal

Gareth Bale will shortly sign a two-year extension to his Real Madrid contract that will tie him to the Spanish giants for the best years of his career.
The Welsh winger was outstanding during the second half of last season, scoring several crucial goals as Real Madrid nearly pipped Barcelona to the league title.
Bale, 27, has also played a key part in two Champions League wins since he arrived in Madrid in 2013.
The then-Tottenham winger signed a six-year contract until 2019 after his £80million move, with a clause for renegotiation after three seasons.
Thus his good form arrived at the perfect time to secure an extension to 2021 plus a bumper payrise to confirm his place as the second-highest earner at the club, only behind Cristiano Ronaldo.
Bale started the new season off in stunning fashion, scoring twice as Real Madrid won their first game of the season away at Real Sociedad on Sunday.
And his new contract could be announced before the end of the transfer window.
